Rodong Sinmun Blasts Abe Group's Moves for Retrogressive Revision of Constitution
Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- Abe at the recent full-dress session of the House of Representatives complained about the movement for criticizing or opposing the "Self-Defence Forces" with no reason, and also grumbled about uncooperative response to it. He stressed the need to specify the existence of the SDF in the constitution in order to end such a situation.

He reiterated the same stand at the conference of the Liberal Democratic Party where he touted that the existence of the SDF has to be specified in Article 9 of the constitution.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Thursday derides his senseless and persistent act for the retrogressive revision of the constitution from the outset of the year as a foolish trick to revise the constitution and realize at any cost the ambition for becoming a military giant and launching overseas expansion.

Japan is ready for overseas aggression any moment and no one in the world will believe in Japan however loudly it may cry out for "peace", the commentary notes, and goes on:

The world people follow Japan with high vigilance, considering it as an entity threatening the world peace.

The same is true for the Japanese mindset.

More than 60 percent of all administrative units of Japan deny cooperation for the recruit for the SDF.

Japan society has also become stronger in its demand for the step-down of the Abe Cabinet. The Japan ruling forces including Abe now find themselves driven into the tight corner.

This notwithstanding, they keep seriously insulting its own people.

The Abe group had better be reminded of what fate its predecessors met for their indulgence in overseas aggression and bloody wars.
