Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Ambassador Alexandr Matsegora, Military Attache Alexei Bartusov and other members of the Russian embassy and military attaches of foreign embassies here.

A wreath was laid at the tower in the name of the Russian embassy.

The participants paid a silent tribute to fallen fighters of the Soviet Army and looked round the tower.

Staff members of the Russian embassy also placed a wreath and flowers at the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Soviet Army in Sadong District, Pyongyang on the same day.

Earlier, they visited a liberation tower, statue of Soviet soldiers and monument to the fallen Soviet soldiers in local areas.
