LKP of S. Korea Accused of Disturbing Investigation into Kwangju Massacre
Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- The ruling party and opposition parties of south Korea reportedly criticized the arrogant stand of the "Liberal Korea Party" (LKP) on the investigation into the Kwangju massacre on Feb. 17.

As already reported, the "National Assembly" of south Korea passed a special bill on investigation into Kwangju massacre last year, which obliged LKP to appoint three persons to the investigation committee. The LKP had intentionally delayed the appointment but caved in to public protest and submitted a relevant list in January this year.

However, all those appointed reportedly twisted the truth behind the Kwangju Uprising in the past.

LKP's floor leader Ra Kyong Won, going against the public demand for "reappointment", is insisting that there is "no reason to reappoint".

Commenting on this awful behavior, the ruling Minju Party, the Jongui Party and the Party for Democracy and Peace are scathingly criticizing the LKP.
