Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, Mostafa Jamal Haider, secretary general of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party, and Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Bablu, chairman of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, made speeches.

They said that the world progressives and Bangladeshi people significantly celebrated the birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il.

They noted that Kim Jong Il is a peerless patriot, great thinker and theoretician and politician admired by the world, who crushed the imperialists' outrageous moves of isolating and stifling the DPRK under the uplifted banner of Songun and turned it into an invincible socialist fortress.

Saying that the prestige of Juche Korea is being boosted day by day, they expressed the belief that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people would register bigger successes in building a powerful socialist country and reunifying the country under the wise guidance of HE Kim Jong Un.
