Making a round of the pump factory, he called for increasing the proportion of homemade equipment, turning the production process into the labor- and energy-saving one, sprucing up its own supply base and putting its operation on a normal track.

At the insulating material factory, he called upon officials to work out a correct management strategy, meticulously operate sci-tech learning space, steadily improve the employee's technical and functional standard and thus make sure that innovations are brought about in improving the quality of insulating materials.
