Mundok, Hanchon, Kamapho and Phyongwon fishery stations under the South Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau hastened the repair of fishing boats and arrangement of fishing implements ahead of schedule to go out in fishing on February 24.

Scores of fishing boats at the Ryongampho, Jongju and Cholsan fishery stations under the North Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau and the Nampho Fishery Station left their anchorages for fishing grounds from February 25 to 27.

According to O Kwang Dok, an official of the Ministry of Fisheries, a scientific fishing system has been established at all the fishery stations including the introduction of advanced shoal-finding methods and fishing technologies.
