Chairmen of Friendship Parliamentary Groups of DPRK and Russia Meet

Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- Talks took place between Hong So Hon, chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Parliamentary Group and president of Kim Chaek University of Technology, and Oleg Melnichenko, chairman of the Federal System, Regional Policy, Local Autonomous and Northern Affairs Committee of the Federation Council of Russia who is chairman of the Russia-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Monday.

Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Kim Sok Nam, deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly, officials concerned and from the Russian side members of the delegation of the Federation Council of Russia and Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and members of his embassy.

At the talks both sides exchanged their views on further developing the relations between the parliamentary groups of the two countries and on the issues of mutual interests.
