Day of Sun to Be Marked in Lebanon

| Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- A Lebanese preparatory committee for marking the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) was formed on Mar. 11. Zaher al Khatib, chairman of the Lebanese Committee for Support to the Reunification of Korea who is secretary general of the Lebanon Federation of Workers, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from Mar. 11 to Apr. 17 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events in praise of the President's feats. |
