Andre Lohekele Kalonda, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the DR Congo who is chairman of the DR Congo preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, said this at the inaugural ceremony of the preparatory committee on March 12.

He said Kim Il Sung, who embarked upon the road of revolution in his teens, founded the Juche idea, the guiding idea in the era of independence, liberated the country from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule and turned the DPRK into a socialist country.

Today, the Korean people are waging a dynamic struggle to open up a new road of advance for socialist construction, holding high the banner of self-reliance under the leadership of the respected HE Kim Jong Un, he said.

He said we will give wide publicity to the noble revolutionary career and immortal exploits of the President and the greatness of HE Kim Jong Un who is making great contribution to the world peace and the human cause of independence by steering international political trend with seasoned leadership, and wage the positive solidarity movement for supporting the Korean people's cause of justice.
