This is the fruit of the common desire and joint efforts of the peoples of the two countries to invariably carry forward the history and tradition of the DPRK-Russia friendship, the paper says, adding:

Russia is a neighboring country of the DPRK and the DPRK-Russia ties are the friendly relations with a long history. The two countries have a shared aim of opposing foreign interference and pressure and defending their sovereignties.

The Korean people always value the friendly and cooperative ties with Russia.

It is the firm will of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people to steadily develop the traditional DPRK-Russia friendship in conformity with the desire and interests of the two peoples.

Now, the Russian people make proactive efforts to stabilize and improve the economy and their livelihood and protect the strategic interests of the country in the face of the continued domestic and foreign challenges. Russia is expanding and developing the cooperation and exchange with different countries and enhancing its roles in regional and international bodies.

The Korean people are very glad at the achievements made by the Russian people and hope that everything will as ever go well in Russia.
