Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Wednesday says this is a wanton violation of human rights and humanitarianism and a serious challenge to the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK.

The commentary says that the Japanese authorities are chiefly responsible for the incident as they are keen on hostile moves against the DPRK and Chongryon.

It goes on:

The afore-said political terrorism and serious human rights abuse can be committed only in the political climate of Japan where the state policy remains hostile towards the DPRK and Chongryon.

Koreans in Japan are victims, who suffered backbreaking toil after being forcibly taken to Japan in the period of the Japanese colonial rule over Korea, and their descendants. The Japanese reactionaries should no longer talk about law-governing society and human rights, as they persistently crack down upon Koreans in Japan, reducing them into a scapegoat for the settlement of domestic affairs and political crisis.

Japan is, indeed, the tundra of human rights which is unanimously denounced by the world public. And the Japanese reactionaries' racket against Chongryon is the hysterics of schizophrenics.

We will never remain a passive onlooker to the Japanese reactionaries' fascist violence and unethical act against Koreans in Japan.
