Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung showed love and kindness to many foreigners in his lifetime. Among them was the former Indonesian charge d'affaires ad interim to the DPRK, who formed relations with the President in the ceremony to welcome his historic visit to Indonesia in April Juche 54 (1965). The President named his daughter born in Pyongyang "Chinsonnyo Moran" at his request and sent him an autograph letter. When Moran sent a letter and photo to him in February 1983, the President recollected her father with deep emotion and sent her a reply letter. In September that year, he met with Moran and her mother visiting the DPRK and had a photo session with them and gave them gifts. Seven years later, he sent a wedding gift to Moran. He also bestowed such favors on Genaro Carnero Checa, former secretary general of the Federation of Latin American Journalists, O. Cherma, a citizen of Mongolia, Candelaria Rodriguez, a woman lawyer of Cuba, and other foreigners. Indeed, President Kim Il Sung was the great sage of humankind possessed of ardent love and noble virtues. |
