The Japanese government decided to reorganize the units of the Japan Ground "Self-Defense Force" on Mar. 26 under the pretext of ratcheting up the defense system of Nansei archipelagos and the Japanese defense minister inspected the amphibious task force for the first time.

Minju Joson Thursday in a commentary says that Japan's military movement trends towards improving its offensive power rather than defense capability, though it describes its military moves as a bid for "defense".

Japan's trigger-happy move is a revelation of its impatience with and fears over its surrounding situation that runs counter to its strategic goal, says the commentary, and goes on:

If stable situation settles and the trend of peace lasts in peripheral areas of Japan, Japan will be left without important justification for its policies of a military giant and overseas expansion. This is a big political blow to Abe, who set it as his main policy task to attain the goal of turning Japan into a war-capable country.

That is why the Japanese reactionaries work hard to increase the offensive capability of the "Self-Defense Forces" through active military moves and, at the same time, steer the situation around Japan to the realization of their political ambition.

Miserable end is always in store for aggressors.

If Japan persists in reckless military hysteria to realize its ambition for overseas expansion at any cost, it will end up in ruin.
