S. Korean Bodies Demand LKP Dissolution
Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations held a meeting in Seoul on Mar. 16 in demand of the dissolution of the "Liberal Korea Party" (LKP), according to the south Korean online paper Jaju Sibo.

The speakers said that the LKP has distorted the spirit of the May 18 Kwangju Popular Resistance and resorted to unpopular deeds, enraging the people.

In particular, they denounced Ra Kyong Won, LKP floor leader, for saying that war drills should continue so as to consolidate the alliance with the U.S.

Speakers condemned this as a reckless remark to aggravate the prevailing situation and perpetuate the division.

They expressed their will to struggle to have the LKP dissolved and to uproot the deep-seated evils.
