Message of Sympathy to President of Malawi

Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Thursday sent a message of sympathy to Arthur Peter Mutharika, president of the Republic of Malawi, over big human and material losses caused by the Cyclone Idai that hit Malawi.

The messaged expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the president and, through him, to the government and people.

It sincerely hoped that the government and people of Malawi would eradicate the aftermath of the disaster at an early date.
