Atul Kumar Anjan, chairman of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association who is secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

It fixed a celebration period between Mar. 15 and Apr. 15 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events in praise of the feats performed by the President for the Korean revolution and the global independence.
