Ibrahim Mantu, chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association who is member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

It decided to give publicity to the President's revolutionary career and feats and the achievements made by the Korean people in socialist construction under the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and to hold colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the 107th birth anniversary of the President.
