The activities of the Korean Children's Union and the Syria Baath Children Organization were briefed and opinions for further development of friendly relations between the two juvenile organizations exchanged at the talks.

Present there from the DPRK side were officials of the Central Committee of the youth league and from the Syrian side a member of the delegation of the Syria Baath Children Organization and the Syrian ambassador to the DPRK.

A memorandum of understanding on friendship and cooperation between the Korean Children's Union and the Syria Baath Children Organization was signed after the talks.
