Day of Sun to Be Marked in Bangladesh

| Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- A Bangladeshi preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) was formed on March 22. MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from March 22 to April 18 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events including seminar, photo exhibition and film show to praise the exploits performed by Kim Il Sung for the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence. |
