Day of Sun to Be Marked in Russia

Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating President Kim Il Sung's birth anniversary, the Day of the Sun, was formed by the Communist Party "Russian Communists" on Mar. 22.

M. A. Suraikin, chairman of the C.C. of the party, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to give publicity to the President's revolutionary career and exploits through media and hold political and cultural events including seminar on the occasion of his 107th birth anniversary.
