Ri Su Yong referred to the stand of the WPK to further develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Laos provided by the preceding leaders of the two countries as required by the new times.

Bounnang Vorachith expressed full support for the efforts made by the WPK and the government of the DPRK for the building of a powerful socialist country and peace and security in the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world, saying that the relations between the two parties and two countries are the comradely ties with a long history and tradition.

Present there were members of the WPK delegation, the DPRK ambassador to Laos, the chairman of the Committee for External Affairs of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party who is a member of the C.C., LPRP, and officials concerned.
