Day of Sun to Be Marked in Uganda

Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- A Ugandan national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the Day of the Sun, was formed in Kampala on Mar. 25.

Mayambala Lawrence, chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to organize such diverse political and cultural events as seminar and lecture in praise of Kim Il Sung's undying revolutionary exploits in the run-up to his 107th birth anniversary.
