Day of Sun to Be Marked in Germany

| Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating President Kim Il Sung's birth anniversary, the Day of the Sun, was formed by the German Group for the Study of Korean Culture on Mar. 24. Manfred Schneider, chief of the group, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to give wide publicity to the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the DPRK's proud reality through media and organize such political and cultural events as photo show and film show in the run-up to the Day of the Sun. |
