President Kim Il Sung's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Myanmar

| Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- A Myanmar's preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) was formed on Mar. 26. A member of the Central Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar who is also secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee was elected chairperson of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize such diverse political and cultural events as meeting, book and photo exhibition and film show on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
