The preparatory committee with Mozgovoy, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and chairman of the International Social Federation "For the Union and Union's Communist Party", as its chairman comprises personages of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, the Communist Workers Party of Russia, the Communist Workers' Party of Belarus, the Communist Party of Azerbaijan and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.

The preparatory committee decided to hold a seminar and other political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
