Korean Nation's Chima and Jogori Peculiar in Beauty of Form
Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- From olden times, the Korean women have liked to put on chima (skirt) and jogori (jacket).

Yun Kwang Chol, a researcher of the Folklore Institute under the Academy of Social Sciences, told KCNA that chima and jogori are not only beautiful in color, pattern and adornments but also peculiar in beauty of form.

Jogori is tight in width, but chima broadens toward the bottom, he said, adding:

They give balanced and elegant feeling as a whole.

Lapel and breast-tie of jogori are harmoniously combined with its hem and lower part of sleeves.

The long hem of chima looks lithe and rhythmic.
