The soil analyzer has been introduced into many co-op farms of the country, contributing to taking steps for soil amelioration and setting a scientific fertilizing system.

Kim Hye Ok, section chief of the Academy, told KCNA:

The newly-developed soil analyzer is wide in measuring range and high in measuring accuracy.

It can promptly and correctly measure such main indices for fertility evaluation as electric conductivity, content of humus, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, magnesium, boron and manganese and soil acidity.

This portable analyzer can also make an analysis of fertilizer, water and substrate.
