Songhwa Fine Art Exhibition Opened

| Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- The Songhwa fine art exhibition for celebrating the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, was opened at the Pyongyang International House of Culture Tuesday. On display there are more than 80 pieces including Korean paintings and oil paintings created by veteran painters with reverence for Kim Il Sung. Acryl painting "Best Wishes of All People" depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il is seen at the center of the exhibition hall. There are also oil paintings "President Kim Il Sung's birthplace in Mangyongdae", "Chairman Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp", etc. Korean painting "Pine tree", oil paintings "Waves of Haechilbo" and "Landscape on Mt Kumgang", etc. are also on show at the exhibition. |
