The chairperson of the Myanmar's Preparatory Committee for Celebrating the Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung said that Kim Il Sung was a great statesman who liberated the country from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule, founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and dedicated himself to building the DPRK into the people's country, the country strong in sense of independence and national power.

A vice-general secretary of the C.C., the Czechoslovak Communist Party, who doubles as chairperson of the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea and chairperson of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, said that it is honor to celebrate the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, who is always alive in the hearts of progressive humankind, together with the Korean people.

He noted that the President was a man of great eminence who performed undying exploits in accomplishing the cause of global independence.

He pointed out that the cause of socialism in the DPRK pioneered and advanced victoriously by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il is invariably carried forward by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event in Bulgaria.
