In the beginning of Kim Il Sung's revolutionary activities, the Korean people created and sang an immortal revolutionary hymn "Star of Korea" in praise of him who was devoting his all to the country's liberation, and called him the sun.

The world people, too, gave a number of titles to him in praise of his exploits.

Celebrated figures and scholars of many countries compiled "Kim Il Sung Encyclopedia", the first biography of master-hand in the world, in which the President is praised as "Representative of the 20th Century", "Prominent Leader of Humankind", "Great Thinker", etc.

In celebration of the 70th birthday of Kim Il Sung, the president of Zambia visited the DPRK and recited a poem dedicated to him, praising him as the "standard-bearer of oppressed people".

Kim Il Sung was also lauded as "genius of revolution", "genius of construction and strategy", "genius of leadership over masses", "lodestar of human liberation", "great man steering the world revolution", "guardian of justice", "popular leader recognized by all people", "inspirer of peace and friendship", "supreme incarnation of human love", "tender-hearted father of world people", "paragon of internationalists", etc.

All those titles given to him reflect the deep reverence and strong will of the world people to hold him in high esteem as the eternal sun of humankind.
