Greetings to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un from Syrian President

| Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on Tuesday with the approach of the 107th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. The message extended the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un in the names of the president and people of Syria on the occasion of the 107th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung who is always alive in the hearts of people, the Day of the Sun, wishing Kim Jong Un happiness in good health and the friendly Korean people bigger progress and prosperity. The message said that Kim Il Sung achieved great prosperity in all fields despite the harsh and inhumane blockade imposed by the dominationist and imperialist forces against the friendly DPRK. It expressed belief that Kim Jong Un would defend the great legacy and continue to firmly lead the DPRK to new developments and successes. |
