Many People Visit Yonggwang Revolutionary Battle Site
Yonggwang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The Yonggwang Revolutionary Battle Site telling about the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung for national liberation draws an endless stream of visitors.

The battle site is a place associated with the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung and anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk who advanced into the homeland to open up a new road for the national liberation revolution in the latter half of the 1930s and aroused the broad masses of people to the nationwide resistance.

This year a number of working people, youth and students of many units including the February 8 Vinalon Complex and Kim Chaek University of Technology and service personnel visited the battle site. In April, the number of the visitors is on steady increase.

The visitors made rounds of the Mt Sambat meeting place and the secret camp of the command. At the meeting, the President made a speech "For A Fresh Upsurge in the Revolutionary Struggle in the Homeland" before political workers of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and chiefs of underground revolutionary organizations after coming to the Sinhung area in September, Juche 26 (1937).

They looked round the historic relics associated with Kim Jong Suk's revolutionary exploits, slogan-bearing trees and other revolutionary relics and remains.
