Reciters highly praised the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Il Sung who founded the immortal Juche idea and creditably applied it to the revolutionary practice to build a socialist country independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence on this land.

In the epic "Our Eternal Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung", they proved that the President's birth was the great fortune for the Korean nation unprecedented in its 5 000 year-long history and a great event that ushered in the dawn of the era of independence for the Korean people and progressive mankind.

Recited at the event were poems dealing with the Korean people's reverence for Kim Il Sung and his devoted efforts for the country's farming and a lengthy epic extending thanks to him.
