The resolution referred to the fact that the positive trend towards peace, prosperity and independent reunification on the Korean peninsula was created thanks to the proactive efforts of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

It extended full support to the Korean people who are dynamically struggling to open a new road of advance for socialist construction under the uplifted banner of self-reliance true to a fresh strategic line of the Workers' Party of Korea.

It appealed to all organizations under the WFTU and its friendly bodies and progressive trade union organizations to extend support and solidarity to the Korean people's just struggle for socialist construction and national reunification.
