The letter said that the Korean nation held in high esteem the Sun of the nation, savior of destiny for the first time in the national history spanning five thousands years by greeting April 15, the birth anniversary of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, and added brilliance to its name as the most dignified nation that paved its destiny in a victorious way.

It lauded that Kim Il Sung is an outstanding leader who provided the treasured sword for the human emancipation and national liberation by founding the unique Juche idea centered on the popular masses and set a brilliant example of accomplishing the cause of the popular masses for independence, an iron-willed brilliant commander who defeated the two most ferocious imperialisms in one generation and established the proud tradition of sure victory and a peerlessly elder statesman who developed the DPRK into an invincible country, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence by leading the two-stage social revolution and socialist construction to victory.

It noted that Kim Il Sung put forward national reunification as the supreme patriotic cause of the nation and laid eternal foundation for the national reunification by setting forth the lines of the independent reunification including the Three Charters for National Reunification and made tireless efforts for the genuine prosperity and great unity of the country and nation till the last moments of his great life. He is always alive as the Sun in the hearts of the fellow countrymen, it pointed out.

It said that the revolutionary cause of Juche paved by President Kim Il Sung and led by Chairman Kim Jong Il to victory is making a long drive century after century and the history of the Sun goes on in this land as it is steered by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
