National Seminar Held

Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- A national seminar was held at the People's Palace of Culture on Thursday to deeply grasp the idea advanced in Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's historic letter "Let Us Double the Motive Force of Our Revolution through Fresh Information and Motivation Work" and thoroughly apply it to the Party's ideological work. Attending the seminar were officials of central and city party and administrative organs, working people's organizations, those in the fields of science, education, literature and art and media and those of party cadres training institutions and those in the field of revolutionary relics preservation. The seminar heard papers profoundly explaining and proving the originality, scientific accuracy and truth of the idea clarified in the historic letter sent by Kim Jong Un to the participants in the Second National Conference of Primary Information Workers of the Party. At the seminar, speakers said that the letter serves as an immortal programme as it comprehensively expounds the important tasks facing the Party's ideological work at the present time and clearly indicates the tasks for decisively enhancing the role of the primary information workers of the Party and ways to do so. In the letter, Kim Jong Un set it as an important task to hold fast to the struggle for concentrating all efforts on firmly consolidating the revolutionary position and class position, directing all efforts of information and motivation on accelerating socialist economic construction and overcoming formalism as a party-wide work, the most urgent task for cementing the ideological front, they noted. As the letter newly defined the position and role of the primary information workers of the Party and detailed even the ways for decisively enhancing their role, it comes to be an immortal banner to spirit up the ideological front of the Party with stirring and enterprising temper and encourage the whole revolutionary ranks to make a dynamic advance, they stressed. |
