Edible Herbs Used for Dietary Life in Spring
Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) -- From long ago, the Korean people have used tasty and nutritive edible herbs in their dietary life.

Typical of them are wild garlic, pick-purse, bracken, fern, roots of broad bellflower and todok (Codonopsis lanceolata).

Pickles of wild garlic, soup of pick-purse, seasoned pick-purse, seasoned bracken and dishes made of todok tempt the appetite and raise the spirit.

The Korean people also like to use pickled anise, seasoned roots of broad bellflower, seasoned fern, rice wrapped in aster leaves and other dishes made of edible herbs in their dietary life.
