Present at the closing ceremony were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials of the festival organizing committee, ministries, national institutions and armed forces organs and festival participants.

Attending it were members of the Society for Disseminating and Supporting Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia, a congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the Day of the Sun, and overseas compatriots and foreigners.

Diploma of the Kimilsungia Festival Prize was awarded to a number of units and exemplary participants, including cultivators and lecturers, highly appraised at the festival.

The diploma was also conferred on the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, the Indonesian embassy in Pyongyang and foreigners.
