The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Syrian Arab Socialist Union Party said that Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, in his policy speech made at the First Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK called for concentrating all efforts on economic construction under the uplifted banner of self-supporting and self-reliance to meet the sanctions moves of the hostile forces.

It noted that the policy speech clearly clarified the principled stand of the WPK and the government of the Republic for the steady development of the north-south relations, ensuring of peace on the Korean Peninsula, improvement of the DPRK-U.S. relations and friendship and cooperation with all the countries in the world.

It extended warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un who is leading the struggle of the Korean people for building a prosperous and powerful socialist country by smashing high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists.

It noted that bright is the future of the Korean people vigorously advancing under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The Hungarian Workers' Party supported the policy speech made by Kim Jong Un, welcomed the stand of the DPRK government to defend peace of the Korean Peninsula and the world and extended firm solidarity to the Korean people's struggle for accomplishing the cause of socialism.
