Attending the opening ceremony were Jong Yong Nam, director-general of the National Administration of Motion Picture Industry, officials concerned, creators and artistes of the film sector, working people in the capital city, Syrian Ambassador to the DPRK Tammam Sulaiman and members of his embassy.

Present there on invitation were diplomatic envoys and representatives of international bodies' missions here.

Speeches were made there.

The participants watched a Syrian feature film "Fate Changed".
