At the meetings, the appeal was read out before speeches.

Speakers said that all the people are full of revolutionary zeal to make a great turning point of effecting a leap forward in socialist construction with self-reliance by single-mindedly rallying around Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

They stressed the need to cherish the unshakable faith to pave their own way by themselves with confidence in their own strength so as to step up modernization of production lines and bring about a turn in diversification and quality improvement of people's consumer goods by investing efforts in developing new products.

They noted that they would glorify the era prospering with self-reliance by thoroughly implementing the important tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in the historic policy speech made at the First Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and at the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

They called for making tangible contribution to the economic development of the country and the improvement of people's standard of living by making proud successes in the drive for breaking through the cutting edge, mindful that the on-going grand march of self-reliance is just the struggle for devotedly supporting the Party Central Committee and defending socialism.

They called for more vigorously stepping up the grand march for creating the new Mallima speed, keeping pace with the steps of patriotic devotion taken by Kim Jong Un who is on a foreign trip for the prosperity of socialist Korea and happiness of the people.
