Establishing Party Leadership System Is Vital to Victorious Advance of Korean Revolution: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Sunday dedicates an article to the 40th anniversary of publication of Chairman Kim Jong Il's work "On Thoroughly Establishing the System of Party Leadership".

The work, published on April 28, Juche 68 (1979), serves as important guidelines to be held fast to in speeding up the victorious advance of the cause of socialism by enhancing the leadership and fighting efficiency of the Party in every way.

The work clarifies theoretical and practical issues arising in establishing the Party leadership system, including the issue of unconditionally implementing the Party's decision and instructions to the last, the issue of establishing iron discipline within the Party, enhancing the militant function and role of Party organizations and the issue of ensuring that officials should learn from the art of leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

The article says that establishing the Party's leadership system is the basic principle for building a revolutionary party and the issue of key importance in successfully pushing ahead with the revolutionary struggle and construction work.

It notes that only when the Party's leadership system is thoroughly established, can the Party fulfill its mission as the staff of the revolution and powerfully push forward the revolution and construction by mobilizing broad segments of people.

It points out that after the publication of the work, great efforts have been directed to thoroughly establishing the Party's leadership system and firmly guaranteeing the Party's guidance over the revolution and construction.

The article calls for further intensifying the work for the establishment of the Party's leadership system as required by the developing revolution, upholding the Party's plan and determination with one mind, thus making fresh leaps forward and innovations in building a powerful socialist country.
