The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula said in a joint statement that in his policy speech Kim Jong Un clarified the stand to be maintained by the DPRK in the state building and activities.

The statement noted that he also underlined the need to step up the building of a powerful socialist state by the efforts of Koreans themselves in a Korean way while settling everything on the principle of self-reliance and self-development.

The statement expressed the belief that the Korean people would surely build a powerful socialist state of Juche by their own efforts.

The Ethiopian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Ethiopian Committee for the Study of the Independent Politics and the Ethiopia-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee in a joint statement fully supported Kim Jong Un's policy speech.

The statement said that the south Korean authorities should sincerely carry out the Panmunjom Declaration and the September Pyongyang Joint Declaration, bearing in mind that if they depend on outsiders only, the present inter-Korean relations might return to those in the past when they spiraled up towards a catastrophe.

The U.S. should take trustworthy steps in response to the DPRK's sincere efforts for mending the relations with it, the statement stressed.

If the U.S. doesn't show its true heart, it will not be spared the accusation from humankind desirous of peace, the statement added.
