Founding Anniversary of KPRA Observed by Swiss Bodies

| Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- The Swiss Organizing Committee for the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on April 21 on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA). The statement said: On April 25, 1932 the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung founded the KPRA, the first Juche-oriented revolutionary force, in Korea. Two pistols he received from his father served as an important asset for building the revolutionary forces. Under his leadership, the KPRA won a brilliant victory in the anti-Japanese armed struggle. He founded the regular armed forces Korean People's Army on February 8, 1948. The Korean People's Army is demonstrating its might as the invincible forces reliably defending socialist Korea under the wise leadership of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un. |
