Efforts for Using Natural Energies Brisk in DPRK

| Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- The Natural Energy Institute under the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK directs efforts to harnessing natural energy resources in electric-power production. It has conducted researches to raise the electricity output by using subterranean heat, wind, biomass, solar heat and hot spring. Methane motor generating system has been expanded on a large scale and a research for developing wind-powered generator with larger capacity than 100-kw one has been pushed ahead at the institute. |
