The Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and the Dental Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health took the first place in standings of the contest which was held, divided into two groups, in such events as basketball, volleyball, table tennis and tug of war.

Present at the closing ceremony were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, officials and players in the fields of public health and students of Pyongyang Medical College of Kim Il Sung University.
