Condolences to Vietnamese President

Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- Choe Ryong Hae, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, sent a message of condolence to Nguyen Phu Trong, president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on Wednesday over the death of Le Duc Anh, former president of Vietnam.

The message expressed deep condolences to the president and the people of Vietnam and the bereaved family, saying that Le Duc Anh was a state political activist who devoted himself to building rich and prosperous Vietnam.

It noted that though Le Duc Anh passed away, the feats he performed for the prosperity of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the happiness of its people will remain long in the mind of the Vietnamese people.
