Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un devoted his all to sprucing up the camp which is associated with the leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Un made sure that the camp has been built into a palace of the schoolchildren and took part in the ceremony of unveiling the statues of the great leaders and an inaugural ceremony of the renovated camp on May 2, Juche 103 (2014).

Since then, a number of schoolchildren in different parts of the country enjoyed camping there. Among them were those of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, middle schools for orphans and schools in the northern end of the country, the demarcation line area and the east and west coastal areas.

Children and friends from China, Russia, Vietnam and other countries spent pleasant camping days together with Korean schoolchildren, deepening friendly feelings.
