As of April, more than 370 km-long roads were reconstructed or repaired and 120-odd bridges were mended or newly built across the country. And over 523,400 cubic meters of river embankment were built, 989,000 cubic meters of embankment were repaired and 2,178,000 cubic meters of unwanted things were removed from the bottom of rivers in more than 760 km-long sections.

During the period, such works as expanding the width of roads, construction of revetment, piling work, concrete placing of ditches and tree planting along the roads were carried out in provinces, too.
