Korean People's Struggle Supported by Bangladeshi Bodies

| Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The appeal sent by the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee to Support the Reunification of Korea to the peace-loving people of the world on the occasion of the first anniversary of the historic Panmunjom Declaration and the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement was supported by Bangladeshi organizations. The Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy and the Bangladeshi Media Persons' Group for the Study of the Juche Idea noted in a joint statement on April 26: We vehemently denounce the illegal sanctions checking the development and prosperity of the Korean nation. The trend toward peace created on the Korean peninsula should be led to the establishment of a durable peace-keeping mechanism and practical steps should be taken to do so. We are convinced that the north and the south of Korea would reject outsiders' interference and reunify the country under the banner of national independence, peace and prosperity. We extend full support and solidarity to the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their struggle for peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula. |
